Vancouver and Kelowna Pick up Locations!

Hi Everyone,
We're excited to announce the Vancouver and Kelowna pick up days/events!
On October 28th we will be at Doan's Craft Brewing Company in Vancouver.
We'll be there from 1-pm-8pm and in addition to having your Kickstarter rewards for pickup we'll also be firing up the BBQ and having a few delicious vegan beers!

The next day we are in Kelowna for the Earth to Table Vegan Market.
We'll have your Kickstarter rewards available for pickup and will once again be firing up the ole BBQ.

Once we get back to Victoria, we'll be preparing the Victoria rewards for pickup as well as shipping out the rest of the orders. We'll contact you when your order is ready (aiming to get out 20-40 a day until we're done :)

Kickstarter Rewards Updated Schedule!

Hi Everyone,
We've been hard at work preparing all of the Kickstarter rewards.
We've ordered all of the items for the swag bags as well as the t-shirts.
We've also locked down most of the BackerKit surveys and charged credit cards for any add-ons purchased.
Unfortunately, building 500+ wooden boxes is taking us a little longer than anticipated.
We also had to wait a bit longer than originally anticipated for the t-shirts to be pressed.
For local Victoria Pickups we hope to start having orders ready on October 30th. We will be contacting you individually when your order is ready to pickup. We are planning on having 20-30 orders available for pickup each day which means everyone should have their order by the 2nd week of November.
Here is an updated schedule:
October 28th- Vancouver Pick Up Day (location to be announced early next week)
October 29th- Kelowna Pick-Up Day (We will be at the Earth to Table Vegan Market)
October 30th- Victoria orders will start being ready for pickup
October 31st- Canada orders start being shipped out
November 6th- U.S. Orders shipped out
November 7th- Remaining Canada orders sent out
Thanks very much for your patience as we get everything ready!! With 700 backers it has been a lot of work. We're very excited to get everything out to you :)

Hi there,
Thanks for bearing with us as we get everything set up for fulfilling all of the Kickstarter rewards.
We've just received the money from Kickstarter and are hard at work preparing everything! Equipment and ingredients have been ordered and we're training some awesome new bean butchers.
If you backed the Kickstarter you should be receiving an email from Backerkit in the next few hours. It will contain a survey that will let you configure your reward and provide your shipping (or pick up) information. You can also purchase any additional add-ons or sides.
If there are any issues with your survey or you have any questions please facebook message us or send us an email ([email protected]) and we'll get it sorted out right away.
If you missed out on the Kickstarter (or know someone who did) get them to email us ([email protected]) and we can add them to the BackerKit so they can order.
Here's a tentative timeline (dates subject to change).
September 29th- BackerKit surveys sent out
September 30th- Grand Re-Opening in new space
October 9th- BackerKit survey responses locked down
October 16th- Victoria orders ready for pickup
October 21st-October 23rd- Vancouver Pick Up Days (dates and location TBD)
October 24th- Ship U.S. orders and begin shipment of Canada orders
Oct 28th/29th- Kelowna Pick Up Day
Oct 30th- Continue shipping Canada orders

Grand Re-Opening!

Hi there,
We're happy to announce the grand re-opening of our Vegan Butcher shop.
On Saturday September 30th we'll be opening the doors to our new space (still in the Victoria Public Market).

The main reason we're moving to this new space is.... well, space. We've got a much larger kitchen and will be able to create a larger range of meat products (and have them more readily available). We are already hard at work in the new space preparing a number of the Kickstarter rewards and can't wait to get them out to you.
Early next week we'll be sending the surveys out and you'll be able to finalize your order and provide shipping (or local pick up) information.

Hi there,
Our Kickstarter campaign has just wrapped up!
Thank You!
We've been blown away by the response and incredible support we've received from all of you. We are very excited to be able to scale up production of our plant based meats and cheeses and are eager to get to work.
In total we raised $64,293 from 700 of you amazing backers!
Today, we're celebrating with a delicious Vegan steak.
Tomorrow, we'll be back at it putting everything in place for getting your rewards out to you as soon as possible. In the next 1-2 weeks you'll receive an invitation from Backer Kit which will have a survey for you to choose your shipping/pickup options as well as configure any add-ons/sides.
We've already started the process of ordering some of the new equipment including a combi oven, tilt skillet, and mixer.
We are also moving into a new space (still in the Victoria Public Market) which will give us a lot more room to produce our plant based meats and cheeses . We're hoping to open the space on the 23rd of this month.
